Halloween Has Passed, Everything Is Packed Away

Sunday, November 2nd, 2008

The Halloween party was a smash, and like always I don’t wait a second to begin packing it all away for another year. My family insists that I keep it up for just a few days longer but I never do. My question is why does it pack up so quickly but take me three weeks to get it all put out.

I have a few ideas to try out next Halloween. I’ll keep you updated over the summer as I finalize the details for Halloween 2009. One of these years I going to finally get to do my Halloween CarnEvil Theme, will it be in 2009?

Once the pictures of this year get back I’ll share a few of the newest decorations in the next few posts. Until then, keep your spirits up.

Is It Halloween Yet?

Sunday, April 6th, 2008

Some might be embarrassed to say that they finally put away the last Halloween decorations, in April. I on the other hand took it as a sign. Halloween is only 6 months away. Time to start planning the Halloween party now. With all the garage and yard sales to come, what better place and time to pick up some spooky props or extra crystal dishes, candles and broken items of all sorts.

I’m finally going to put together my Frankenstein’s Laboratory, what fun! Watch this blog for updates and pictures of the project step by step. I will need lots of glass canning jars, a few of the big pickle jars and some real laboratory beakers.

Check back soon or subscribe to this blogs feed for automatic updates on decorating ideas for Halloween.

Time until Halloween:
