This Halloween Candies and Treat Station makes a great display in an entryway, narrow space or hallway. Stack the candy and or goodies in all sorts of crystal dishes and trays among a few hand selected centerpiece quality decorations from your collection.
More Details
You Will Need:
(1) Small entry or hallway table.
(1) Halloween table runner tablecloth.
(1-2) Assorted Halloween centerpiece size decorations.
(4-6) Assorted glass treat dishes. (Bring out that crystal and clear holiday glass in your cupboards).
(6-10) Assorted varieties of individually wrapped Halloween sized candy.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
#1 - Start with a small table for your display and add a Halloween tablecloth or runner.
#2 - Select a few centerpieces, a small table lamp and place them on your table. You may end up moving things around as you continue to set up your display (this is normal).
#3 - A nice lighted piece, a pumpkin, a few candles on tall pillars or something similar helps set the mood. If you also use a table lamp like in our display example, be sure to use a black light bulb.
#4 - Add a few fun containers, and bring out those old crystal dishes and work them around your centerpieces or main prop pieces. If a dish or container is too deep, fill it up with a smaller container turned upside down. This helps to take fewer candies to 'fill' a dish.
#5 - Fill some of the dishes with colored paper shred, but not all of them and begin filling the dishes with assorted individually wrapped halloween-size candies. The bigger the variety the better. I usually choose 12 different wrapped candies along with a bag or two of loose candy corn and cinnamon jelly candies.
#6 - Sit back and enjoy your display. After the party has started, you can top off the candies as the dishes occasionally get emptied.

as the event itself. The keyword here is 'planning'. You can't
expect to have a good party without getting a good start on the
