We started with a plain 22 inch round paper lantern. (JustArtifacts.net) and carefully traced out a flying witch on broom figure on face of lantern using a dull pencil or ball point pen while being careful to not puncture paper. Then we in-filled our witch with black acrylic craft paint. We applied second coat when dry and then hung over our display table.
Halloween has quickly outpaced a number of
